in the world during the Roman era, and the second largest city in the world at that time,
it now includes many monuments and temples, and it is located
in the Lydia region – a historical region in western Anatolia – At the Kester River,
which flows into the Aegean Sea (in present-day Turkey).
It was founded in the tenth century BC by the ancient Greeks. One of the biggest attractions for tourists,
especially those traveling by ship, is the remains of the city of Ephesus. An aqueduct was opened between the historic city and the sea.
Tourists are taken by small boats to the city. The seaport of Ephesus has been preserved as it was in the days of its glory.

The Grand Theatre
To understand the splendor of the Hellenistic grand theatre, imagine a less ferocious gladiator looking down upon an audience of 24,000 spectators from center stage. And near it there is a cemetery for the fighters, victims of the many battles,
which were hosted by large crowds, and this confirms the belief that the theater was
a very important part of the social fabric of the people of Ephesus. Before it became a gladiatorial arena,
it was used in dramas and plays, hence the excellent sounds that have been used to such great effect in modern times.

John, who spent several years in the area spreading Christianity, and that this house is a
